Moving z/VM and Linux systems to new DASD typically requires an outage. There is now a solution to accomplish both of these tasks non-disruptively. This presentation will describe in detail the process of migrating Linux (SYSTEM) and z/VM (CP-owned) volumes to new storage controllers, all while the systems remain up. As your Linux workload under z/VM and the requirement for "Continuous operations" grows, having such a tool in your toolbox becomes vital.-Michael D. MacIsaac-Innovation Data Processing
