Often in mission critical applications the business rules or decision logic is embedded within existing code making it difficult to isolate and maintain when business changes underlying logic is required. IBM's WebSphere Operational Decision Management (ODM) brings agility to IBM System z applications by allowing fast changes to these rules and providing real-time response to important business events. Combining the management and execution of business rules and business events within the ODM for z/OS product delivers agility, traceability and full lifecycle support to existing and new Mainframe applications.
