The MVS Program Opening is the kick-off conference event for anyone interested in z/OS-related content at SHARE. The Program Managers will provide an overview of the MVS Program in terms of its structure, goals, and personnel, and highlight various sessions of interest occurring throughout the week. Then, John Shebey -- MVS Program Rep from IBM Level 2 Support -- will take over to discuss z/OS APARs you need to be aware of and hopefully make us laugh at the same time. Finally, Scott Engleman -- IBM's z/OS Offerings Manager -- will take the stage to discuss current z/OS topics of interest, new functionality being made available as part of IBM's new continuous delivery strategy for non-critical z/OS functions, and perhaps even share a glimpse into his roadmap for z/OS functionality going forward.
