There are a wide variety of networking options that can be implemented within Linux. This session will provide an introduction to some of the more common approaches such as the KVM default network, MacVTap, bonding, Open vSwitch, and Bridges. We will review dynamically and permanently defining the connectivity in the KVM host as well as defining the virtio interfaces in the virtual servers. We will also discuss primary bridge port role and when it is required.-Richard G. Young-IBM Corporation
