Session will include a discussion of the new Oracle/STK T10000C Tape Drive Performance features and Data Integrity feature.

 

The features to be discussed are:

Tape Label Verification Accelerator (TLVA) Tape Application Accelerator (TAA) StorageTek Search Accelerator (SSA) Tape Tiering Accelerator (TTA) MIR Assisted Search (MAS) Data Integrity Validation (DIV)

 

All these are new on Oracle/STK's T10000C Tape Drive. Features should be understood by both users and developers of tape applications that run to real tape drives.
