With the information revolution and the increasing use of social networking sites like Facebook and MySpace, to simple online surveys that you fill out, new questions and concerns about electronic records, surveillance, and the Internet arise. By simply using a smartphone, seeking medical treatment, applying for a job, or sending email, you might giving your information out to the whole world. The potential for this private information to find its way into the hands of someone who has bad intentions is huge, and that is why, in our digital age, it has become so important to educate yourself, to be aware of what you are saying, and who you are saying it to.
