The first half of this presentation 1 will examine what detailed processor reporting is available in RMF and how it can be used to identify latent zIIP demand, realistic LPAR weight assignment and more.
The second half will introduce and discuss the value of continuous HIS data collection and reporting. We will show how the metrics can be used to monitor the improvements resulting from large pages, HiperDispatch and task scheduling on processors in general.-John Ticic-IntelliMagic
