In migrating SNA applications to a Cloud based solution, the task of provisioning SNA resources and handling requirements of high availability and disaster recovery can be daunting. Our speaker will discuss a real world implementation of a Provision Manager that manages SNA using automation, intelligence and high availability for a very large bank . The requirements of providing automated creation and continual management of SNA resources will be discussed.
The design includes implementing SNA on IP modernization, load balancing, performance monitoring, real-time state reporting with a Web based interface. In this implementation, applications that were once seen as static in nature become mobile, having continuous availability and implemented in a way that reduces costs by centralizing resources.-Jeff L.
