Ransomware is a real threat that MF storage and security administrators need to be aware of and build defenses which can protect their organizations. Storage hardware and software technology has finally evolved to provide an effective and affordable solution.
This session discusses a capability never before available in mainframe computing: system-wide Continual Data Protection. Storage hardware and software technology is available today that enables recovery from pervasive logical corruption, be it malicious ransomware or accidental processing errors. The solution will be described along with an example of how one user has deployed it alongside their advanced multi-site disaster recovery implementation.
