System Automation for z/OS Processor Operations Overview

IBM Tivoli System Automation for z/OS (SA z/OS) is IBM's
strategic product for automation on IBM System z family of servers. It
not only provides functions to automate your z/OS and USS workloads,
enables restart in place, and supports failover of workloads to other
systems. With SA z/OS you can also monitor the IBM System z hardware,
perform remote and automated LPAR reset and IPL of z/OS, z/VM, and Linux
on System z, and also dynamically change LPAR controls such as the LPAR
weight.

In this session, the speaker gives you an overview about the Processor
Operations component of SA z/OS and explains how to use it for status
monitoring and for remote operations of your IBM System z hardware,
including the new IBM zEnterprise Systems. Finally, the speaker gives
an outlook on the intended additional capabilities made possible with
