Thousands of businesses rely on IBM App Connect to instantly connect applications, data, heritage systems and modern technologies through a variety of integration styles - from traditional service-oriented architectures to modern, agile and event-driven ones - virtualizing access to data wherever it lives for exposure as APIs. IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) allows business information to flow between disparate applications across multiple hardware and software platforms. ACE is the evolution of the IBM Integration Bus product, made ready for the container world. This session seeks to give a technical introduction to ACE, looking at concepts such as message flows, parsers, transports, and giving an overview of some use cases and administration and deployment options. This session will also take a look at running ACE with z/OS Container Extensions (zCX), giving an overview of ACE on zCX, looking at why you would want to run ACE on z/OS and how to take best advantage of this exciting technology. Using ACE on zCX enables z/OS customers to run and manage integration servers running in zCX by using JCL or z/OS console commands. If you want to learn the basics about application integration and the "Universal ESB", this session is for you. Whether you're new to application messaging, or already an experienced practitioner, you'll want to know how to connect together all the applications in your enterprise in innovative ways to provide enhanced functionality. Come and find out how the powerful components of IBM App Connect Enterprise provide a flexible, transport independent integration solution.
