In the world of hybrid cloud deployments, "legacy" application components still
play a crucial role, running alongside newly developed applications. With
thousands of Easytrieve and COBOL programs accessing IDMS, Db2, MQ, VSAM and
Sequential files, mainframe customers are likely to experience challenges
addressing application resilience and availability. This session will showcase
how a system-wide restart facility provides a resilient safety net for
mission-critical z/OS batch applications.
