"The Cloud" is many things.  "The Cloud" offers many things.  This presentation will discuss the many things that "The Cloud" brings to the mainframe ecosystem. We will discuss mainframe particpation in the Cloud (API Economy). Also, we will discuss mainframe on-prem use of Cloud-based technology (Provisioning Toolkits and Infrastructure and Database as a Service). Additionally, we will discuss off-prem use of Cloud as a provider of services and tools which are directly related to mainframe processing and/or operations. The variety of Cloud-based and/or Cloud-like solutions for the mainframe is wide and growing, and this presentation will aspire to lightly cover the many solutions types and solutions available today.-Montgomery Bauman-IBM Corporation
