The Journey of Migrating from JES3 to JES2

Now that IBM has published a Statement of Direction affirming that JES2 is the strategic JES and that future enhancements will be primarily developed only for JES2, this may be a good time to consider migrating from JES3 to JES2. To many this may seem a truly daunting, if not impossible task. But others have survived a JES migration. And recent changes to JES2 have helped remove a number of obstacles. This session will review the existing and planned changes to help with the migration and give advice learned from those who have completed the journey.-Tom Wasik-IBM Corporation
