The U.S. Federal government has designated time synchronization networks as critical infrastructure for the U.S. financial system. IBM has been an active participant in the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's conformance working group focused on time synchronization resiliency and security. In this session our speaker will discuss how you can plan for and implement resiliency and security for your time synchronization environment. He will also discuss some of the recent developments in standards focused on this topic. The speaker is IBM Z's Timing Team Lead/Architect and represents IBM in the DHS working group and in the time synch standards bodies.
