As part of a DevOps transformation shifting the testing left as far as possible to allow the developers to get faster feedback is a key part. The concept of shift left testing is to focus on automated testing as early in the development process as possible. Getting feedback as fast as possible to remove as many defects before moving on to more complex integration testing. The process starts with unit testing in the same way you add unit testing to your DevOps pipeline on distributed platforms, then moving into transaction testing in a fully virtualized environment.
In this session we will discuss the cultural transformation, as well as demonstrate the new Wazi Virtual Test Platform technology along with zUnit to show how you can move your testing into the development and build process without having to deploy the application.-Rosalind Radcliffe-IBM Corporation; Suman Gopinath-IBM
