To enable our z/OS Container initiative (which you may have heard back in Summer 2020 as a powerful new way coming soon to enable tranditional z/OS workloads to be containerized), it will require new technologies that will be needed from the underlying z/OS operating system. These will include: new file systems, new interfaces and new concepts, many of which are available in the Linux environment. However, many of these technologies will have other uses. Come and learn about some of these new capabilities.
