The SSIs are a low level (assembler) interface into JES. They have been enhanced in recent releases of JES to including new unauthorized SSIs to obtain JES properties (JESPLEX, job class, SPOOL, initiator and node info) and information on JES owned devices. This presentation will go into details on how these new interfaces work and what information is available. It will include working examples of how to use them. This is intended for application programmers who want to use the SSIs to access JES data and system programmers who want to understand what is available.
