Using z/VM DirMaint in an SSI Cluster

Managing the z/VM user directory is sometimes a challenge for even the most experienced system programmers. When your systems are running in a Single System Image environment, any update must be coordinated on all of your systems. Using a directory manager like DirMaint can make handling this task much easier. This session provides an overview of how the z/VM Directory Maintenance Facility coordinates updates to all member systems of an SSI cluster. It also covers specifics on how to configure DirMaint to support SSI directory administration and to manage disk allocation across your SSI cluster. Bruce Hayden ; IBM Corporation
