What are Containers and Why Do I Care?

Since gaining popularity with Docker in 2013, containers have become a central pillar of cloud native development by standardizing the packaging and delivering of software. In this session, we will demystify what containers are and address the value they present to both development and operations teams. We will discuss how z/OS is adopting these standards through offerings such as z/OS Container Extensions and our planned offering Native z/OS Containers.
