As it turns out, plenty. DFSMShsm provides an extensive array of exit points that allow you to customize almost every aspect of data and volume management. You can allow or prevent backup or migration of selected datasets, convert class transitions to migrations, select target migration level, prioritize particular recalls, validate CDS backup processing, control DFSMShsm functions by date and time, and much more. In this session we'll discuss the most important DFSMShsm exits, their architecture, and function, and provide some useful examples.
