SMF is IBM's component of z/OS that provides instrumentation of all baseline activities running on an IBM mainframe operating system. In this  session the latest SMF record enhancements will be reviewed to understand how they can be used. The  highlights include: • The new SMF records (87, 92, 98, and 106)
• Changes to SMF records with emphasis on SMF: 14, 15, 30, 42, 62, 70s, 99, and 113
• SMF real time interface
