In this session, the speaker will explore selected topics related to the performance of z/OS Communications Server (CS), with a particular focus on performance improvements provided by z/OS V2R1 and V2R2 CS. The speaker will address the following topics: • Shared Memory Communications over RDMA (SMC-R)
• Enhanced Fast Path Sockets
• VIPAROUTE vs. XCF performance in the sysplex
• QDIO accelerator
• Performance enhancements for OSA Express, such as Inbound Workload Queuing,  Segmentation Offload, and Checksum Offload
