This two-part session provides an overview of features available in z/OS V2R2 Communications Server. Features to be discussed include: • Improved scalability with 64-bit support for the TCP/IP stack
• Enhancements to Shared Memory Communications, including support for the new Shared Memory Communications-Direct Memory Access (SMC-D) protocol
• Security improvements such as AT-TLS and FTP support for TLS session reuse
• The ability to configure the TCP/IP stack via the IBM Configuration Assistant for z/OSMF
