There are IMS enhancements providing database administrators and application
business lines a modernized capability to quickly visualize, maintain and create
/ modify resources to be used in an IMS Environment. Using IMS Dynamic Resource
Definition (DRD) and IMS Managed ACBs, resource definitions and application
control blocks are updated while your IMS is running. Use the newly created
metadata for improved application development, resource identification, auditing
and analysis of IMS data in place.
