A deep dive comparison of the types of automated testing - unit testing, performance testing, system and integration testing. How does each type of testing rank in terms of importance, and how do they fit into the traditional mainframe application testing paradigm? In this session, we will go through some working examples of writing mainframe tests for some of the above types of automated testing. We will be using modern testing frameworks like Jest, and mochaJS to perform asynchronous automated testing of CICS transactions and Db2 look ups.

All the testing scripts shown in this session will be made available on open GitHub repositories to be used as a model for your tests.-Sujay Solomon-Broadcom
