With all the ‘buzz’ about Big Data today, there is a lot of information regarding how to enable data to play in this space. It is equally important, if not more so, to discuss the why and what will be done within an enterprise to take advantage of any Big Data initiative. The key factor for the majority of Big Data efforts concerns the manner in which the information will be analyzed, filtered, and delivered. This is centered around the effective deployment and application of Business Analytics technologies applied against the information gathered.
