z Systems offers many different options to limit the capacity that may be consumed by a system or by a specific workload. This session will differentiate between these capping methods, and give some deeper insights in WLM Defined Capacity and Group Capacity, and the new absolute group and absolute MSU capping options introduced recently. Emphasis is on how working out what capping flavor is appropriate for what purpose, and how the different capping mechanisms interact with each other and with other configuration properties. This session is recommended for zNextGen (zNG) members, and those new to the z Systems platform.-Andreas Henicke-IBM R&D Germany
