The days of wasting time and valuable resources by reacting to operations issues in a war room are numbered. IBM Operations Analytics solutions are allowing our customers to be more proactive in identifying potential issues before their users are impacted. The journey starts with gaining access to vital mainframe operational data. Real time analysis of that data helps to provide valuable insight into the current state of operational health. Integrating machine learning technology into this analysis allows customers to gain an understanding of normal operations. Continued real time analysis of both message and metric data can be used to detect when operations begins to deviate from the normal operational baseline. Customers can then be alerted when these deviations are forecasted to lead to broader issues allowing them to proactively take action in order to avoid any service disruptions.-Dan Wiegand-IBM
