This hands on lab provides participants the opportunity to exercise the required IMS utilities to successfully convert an IMS Full Function database to a HALDB. Participants will be able to select and define HALDB Partition sizes and/or key ranges, define the selected size and key range information to DBRC and run conversion jobs to migrate the database to HALDB. This workshop provides an environment to safely adjust or manipulate HALDB definition parameters to observe specific results and gain experience in a non-production situation.-Dennis Eichelberger-IBM Corporation
