System z encompasses multiple operating system environments. This session presents equivalencies across z/OS TSO/ISPF and UNIX/Linux shell environments. We examine command syntax, command stacking, command history, file formats, file systems, copy , move, create, replace, and rename in these user interfaces. Whether you are a z/OS mainframe system programmer, or a UNIX/Linux shell expert in this session, the speaker will provide the Rosetta Stone to understand the cross-platform equivalent.-John G.
