CSI in this case is not a TV show, but rather the Catalog Search Interface, a documented external interface that is used to retrieve catalog information for data sets. It is a flexible, powerful interface that can be invoked by REXX and other languages. This capability allows an installation to extend their ability to programmatically get and process information about cataloged data sets. In this session, the speaker will be an in-depth technical discussion of the options and capabilities available with examples, and has been updated to include the latest product enhancements available since z/OS V2.1.-Stephen Branch-IBM Corporation
