This session provides an overview of the Report Generator. Already familiar to those who use DFSMSrmm, the report generator supports reporting based on DCOLLECT and DFSMShsm function statistics records (FSR). The material covers report generator basics as well as changes introduced in recent z/OS releases (R10 and above). After this session, you will be ready to use the Report Generator to create your own custom reports using DFSMShsm FSR records, DCOLLECT records, and DFSMSrmm extract and SMF records.
