IMS applications can access WebSphere MQ messages in two ways:  they can use the Websphere MQ API or the they can use the MQ IMS Bridge which is an IMS OTMA interface.  This session will focus on the WebSphere MQ API.  There is a lot more to it than has been documented.  This session will show you different ways the WebSphere MQ API can be used from IMS applications and the performance and integrity implications of each.  There will also be a comparison to the MQ IMS Bridge.-Steve Nathan-IBM Corporation
