Learn how new features of Oracle’s StorageTek Virtual Storage Manager (VSM) can allow you to have finer control over your migration resources based on business priorities. With VTCS’s Enhanced Migration Control, the user can influence the number of migration tasks by Storage Class, which can improve real tape drive (RTD) usage and allow the user to better prioritize critical workloads. Discover how users can use immediate migration delay to allow critical DR copies to be migrated first and see how users can achieve better utilization of multi-volume cartridges (MVCs), resulting in fewer Disaster Recovery tapes being vaulted.
