In this session, the speakers will briefly describe the setup and benefits of shared file system support in z/OS UNIX System Services. This will include basic sysplex and shared file system concepts including file system configuration and multiple releases in one sharing group. The speakers will also cover at a high level how the zFS sysplex support works, discuss the types of workloads that would benefit from this support, provide detailed performance results for various types of workloads measured in this environment.
