This session will provide an overview of the current GDPS Classic solutions starting from a single-site solution up to a four-site solution. In addition there will be an overview of the GDPS Active/Active solution including the most current updates. Recent updates to the GDPS zOS Proxy for monoplex systems; Distributed Cluster Manager; and xDR (the management of Linux on z Systems will be discussed).
Attendees will leave with a well rounded understanding of the capabilities of each of the members of the GDPS family of products. There will also be several references to what are best practices and the current state of High Availability in today's world.-Ivan Deleuze-IBM
