Git is becoming the defacto standard for software configuration management for many organizations as part of their DevOps pipeline.  Now z/OS can be part of that pipeline using Git and the new DBB capability.  DBB is a dependency based build capability that allows users to use Groovy to define their build process for traditional z/OS artifacts.  Using DBB with Git you can now plug the z/OS parts into your existing pipeline using Jenkins or what ever you pipeline coordinator is.
