We all like to see the daily detail for CPU, memory and other stats but what about a longer view? Traditionally, it has been common to consolidate RMF intervals into hours or days so longer periods of time can be shown in a single, easy to read graph - but this comes at the expense of the detail data. This paper will show how you can use heat maps and box plots to show longer periods while preserving all the detail data. Heat maps can show trends over time that may not be visible any other way. Box plots can quickly show the entire range of performance numbers over a period of time when you care about what happened but not when. Join us as we explore the power of these graphs.-Jim Horne-Lowe's Companies, Inc.
