The z13 and z13s release for announce materials have included the statement of direction that the IBM z13/z13s will be the last z Systems servers to support HMC (Hardware Management Console) Classic Style User Interface. In the future, user interface enhancements will be focused on the Tree Style User Interface. This presentation will take you through the basic controls of the Tree Style UI. It will also explain detailed user tips on advanced controls which provide each user with more powerful controls to execute their hardware and platform management tasks more effectively.
