Zowe is an open source tools platform designed to support the needs of mainframe shops in adopting Agile Devops best practices with a modern, flexible, customizable toolset.
There are two kinds of users that Zowe targets; one is the end user who wants to download install and use it, the second is one who wishes to extend and customize Zowe, build new apps for it from its APIs and tool sets, as well as potentially get involved with the Zowe community to influence its direction, submit code patches, become committers or even propose new projects or code contributions.
