How to use open source tools, Jenkins, Git, Groovy, in combination with vendor tools, DBB, BCPii, to build and deploy mainframe applications and z/OS infrastructure, including Cobol and Java applications, CICS native APIs and even full z/OS operating systems, with automated IPL, verification testing and back off.
This will include a link to the open source in Github to jump start your conversion from z/OS SCM to Jenkins and Git. These routines include Assembler, BMS Maps, Cobol, Copybook, Easytrieve, Stand-alone Linkedit, Xpediter and CICS native scripts to build WebServices and APIs using configuration files.
