In this session, the speaker will discuss the new features in the Hardware Management Console (HMC) 2.13.1, available with the IBM z13 GA2 and z13s.  Features include Absolute Capping of LPAR Groups, OSA ICC Secure Socket Layer support, SNMP/BCPii API improvements, and Security Best Practices for HMC Users Monitoring of z/OS LPARs.  Reengineering of Operating System Messages and Integrated 3270 Console will eliminate those Java workstation remote browser challenges.  A significant ease of configuration for Linux Only systems has been established by the HMC's Dynamic Partition Manager.  Lastly, the new rack mounted Trusted Key Entry offering will be discussed.  Come hear what these HMC changes and additional new features mean to you.-Brian Valentine-IBM Corporation
