Learn from past successful experiences how to best conduct a Proof of Concept to put Oracle databases including 11gR2 and EBS on Linux on IBM System z. The session will  discuss how to get started with Oracle Database on Linux on System z in a systematic way. Topics include how to set up z/VM Linux Oracle Database and Disk, then how to load the database and test plus performance evaluation considerations.  Sizing tools and considerations, production readiness and Oracle Applications will also be covered.
