IBM's Service Management Unite, provided as part of the IBM Service Management Suite for z/OS, provides a single intuitive user interface for combining real-time monitoring and system automation enabling operators and system experts to be alerted to, triage, and solve problems faster reducing the need to switch tools. In this session we demonstrate several typical scenarios faced within a z Systems environment that highlight the alerting capabilities provided by OMEGAMON, analysis of data with IBM Operational Analytics - Log Analysis and, scheduling and control of System Automation all integrated together within Service Managment Unite.-Christopher Walker-IBM; Ulrike Muench-IBM Corporation
