Speaking frankly, a business doesn't run - doesn't make money - without the applications managed by IT. As IT, can we identify and account for all the components of the corporate assets we manage? Using software to uncover dependencies between source elements, files, databases, transaction and transactions definitions, in this session we will see how missing components can be quickly identified for inclusion in the portfolio. Further, we will see how development staff can begin with a high-level graphical understanding of the application, traverse an application forwards and backwards, conduct application- and program-level analysis, and create accurate documentation directly from the application itself.-Russ Courtney-
