Automation groups have traditionally been the group whose only function is to intercept problem messages and forward them problem management system. However, recently this perception has been changing allowing automation groups to perform bigger and more important functions for operations. This has translated into greater mainframe efficiency and performance since problems no longer hold up processing until an operator can manually correct it. This is still just scratching the surface of possible improvements that automation can bring to an organization. With the information and integrations available to automation tools there is very little can’t be implemented. Join your peers in a discussion about how to take automation to the next level and how to work through the political resistance.-Michael Kiehl-CA
