The mainframe infrastructure is a vital component of the success of Agile/DevOps workflow models, yet it is often over looked. Cost, capacity, and environmental setup all contribute to how the system will handle change created by Agile/DevOps. This talk describes how a taking a Lean approach to the environment and workloads will allow infrastructure teams to better participate in the Agile/DevOps world. I will explore environmental visibility (gemba), removing waste (muda), and continuous improvement (Kaizen) in terms of your applications and mainframe, to keep the lights on for Agile/DevOps.-Jeremy Hamilton-BMC
