One of the nice things about Liberty is the common way it is configured and operated across all the platforms. But Liberty z/OS goes the extra step and takes direct advantage of z/OS platform. In this session we'll explore the z/OS exploitation that Liberty offers, including: WebSphere Optimized Local Adapters (WOLA); JDBC Type 2 cross-memory access to DB2, including use of RRS for transaction support; integration with WLM for service and report classification; SAF for hardening the security model; and the MODIFY interface and what it provides.-David Follis-IBM Corporation
