z/OS V2.3 will be the last release of the operating system to support the DFS/SMB (Distributed File System / Server Message Block) file-sharing protocol. As such, IBM is delivering new function on z/OS V2.2 and z/OS V2.3 to help customers shift to use the NFS (Network File System) file-sharing technology. This session will discuss the new function and show customers how it can help them migrate.-Kershaw Mehta-IBM Corporation; Edward Jaffe-Phoenix Software International
